6. About Us

We launched our prototype site in response to a need. Searching across the country, we found very few town and city guides with extensive photo galleries and rich content about the happenings in the community. Even more rare was a site built by locals who we believe are the best candidates to accurately depict the charms of their own town. We recognized that creating a franchise of websites across the globe represented a real opportunity for us – and for many entrepreneurial individuals. And so, Placez was born.
